MOTORCYCLE TOURING ON THE FRENCH RIVIERA
French Riviera or Cote D'azur, this magnifient costal road stretches from Monaco to St. Tropez
20 Minutes to the south of our base lies the Mediterranean Sea. We ride different sectors of the coast from the City State Monaco all the way to St. Tropez depending on the group’s preference. To truly enjoy Motorcycle touring on the French Riviera, the timing needs to be right as the summer can get quite busy and hot.
We began by riding through the ancient town of Antibes and stopping in the old town. We then ride along the coast to Nice where again we stop to discover the old town and market. We then head in the back hills to the perched village of Eze for another stop, and finally to Monaco.
St. Tropez is the vacation spot of the wealthy and famous. Though luxury yachts and villas are omnipresent, the village and the beautiful beaches are the main attraction. The ride to reach St. Tropez is partly via the coast and partly through the back country and is absolutely worth the ride.
This a legendary and magnificent stretch of coastal road. The golden name comes from the red rocks of the hills that dive into the Mediterranean sea.
This ride is for the winter period. While many parts of the world are under snow, this is the time that this plant flowers and brightens the landscape with its bright yellow flowers.
