MOTORCYCLE TOURING IN THE PIEDMONT ALPS
We go there for two main reasons: The high altitude off-road riding experience, and the fabulous Italian food!
There are very few places in the Alps that have high altitudes trails open to motorbiking, and the Italian Piedmont Alps is one of them. However, Motorcycle touring in the Piedmont Alps does require off-road riding experience as the gravel and rocky roads are small, treacherous, and vertiginous.
We take two days to discover this beautiful mountainous area with one night on site. This allows us to take time soak this unique environment and to discover the local Italian cuisine.
This excursion will knock the breath out of you by the shear beauty of the environment. The Azur blue of the sky, the green of the mountain and the vistas that let you see for miles and miles all combine for a unique riding experience.
Though the beauty of the environment will compete for your concentration, full focus on riding and bike control is necessary. There is no barriers or guardrail, and the drops can be over 100 meters with no room for error. Additionally, your pumping adrenaline will raise your awareness of the moment. And for all these reasons, we require off-road experience on adventure bike for this excursion.
