How does 7Rides operate?

If you are reading these words than you are looking for a motorbike touring experience, and by now you may have noticed that there are many types of touring experiences available. At this point, we need to stress that how 7Rides operates is a little diffident from other motorcycle tour providers.  This has to do with our philosophy that is also a little bit different.  Keep reading below for more information on how 7Rides operates and on how we are different:

We are are to share our knowledge and enthusiasm about motorcycle riding in the Southeast of France.  Whether your kick is enjoying the beauty on your bike, or challenging yourself to improve your skills, or finding the best restaurants, or some of each, we will guide you and help you discover this beautiful region of France.
We want this to be a fun, stress free motorcycle vacation.   Indeed, a vacation where you can relax and do what you enjoy, ride a motorcycle in the best of circumstances.  For instance,  if it rains to the west, we will go east.  If it is hot on the coast, we will go up in the mountains.  If you want to ride only in the mountains, we will ride pass after pass.
By radiating from our home base, we eliminate many elements of the traditional road trip. There is no need to pack and unpack every 24 hours.  There is no need to get to the next hotel, in the cold, fog or rain.  If you want to stop and take that swim in the lake, go ahead.  We are not time-bound by our next hotel check-in.
In the end, you get more time to ride, more time to discover.  Some might call this wimpy or unadventurous, we call this a fun motorcycle vacation. (Note: The Grand Tour of the Alps and the Piedmont Alps off -road are exceptions as well as any tailored overnight outings.
We offer a variety of riding environments to diversify your motorcycle touring vacation.  So read the motorcycle tour page to get a feel for the variety of rides that you can indulge in during your motorcycle vacation.

You let us know how many days you want to ride as well as other information, and we will set up the hospitality, bikes and guide.  We also accommodate for tailored rides (day trip or overnights).

Endless
Curves

The only straight roads are the highway, and we rarely take these. If you (or your riding partner) are not fans of endless curves our offer may not suit you.

Flexible & Enjoyable

Weather, health, moods, riding partners can lead to unpleasant riding conditions.  We believe in keeping things enjoyable and as we operate from a home base we can switch routes, or the pillion rider can skip the day, or whatever change needs to be done to make the experience more enjoyable.

Rich in
Variety

We designed our offer for those looking to ride for 3 –7 days.  That is not very long, so we pack in the variety.  Steep mountain passes, gentle winding roads, and coastal riders are all part of the experience.  We also have an off-road experience and even track-days.* 

Southeast of France

We take the time to appreciate and absorb the vistas, to take pictures, to enjoy a nice meal at lunch, to stop at cultural sites, provincial villages, small museums, etc..
